Liberal Democrat mayoral hopeful Brian Paddick and the party's prospective candidate for the London Assembly's West Central constituency Merlene Emerson spent yesterday [Sunday 10th February] in Soho celebrating Chinese New Year with the area's residents.

Commenting, Merlene said:

"The Mayor has organised a big show and dance at Trafalgar Square, but it is vitally important that we keep authentic Chinese New Year celebrations and preserve the traditions of the local community."
